Advertising before the Word of God in notifications

Cant go to notifications without seeing advertising before your daily reading and that puts it down to zero stars. This is very troubling.

Im a long time Olivetree user but within the last two years its became more about advertising then the word of God. Im afraid its time to go, just like everyone else is doing.
You can feel greed from whoever took this over.

So sad, this was a good and my go to Bible app.

There needs to an option to take out featured notifications "otherwise known as advertising".
I have a Bible verse reminder that is setup but when I click on it, the app brings me to the featured section. Please, dont clutter up my bible app with advertisements.
I been a loyal customer since the palm pilot.
